My first major event while working for Inside Columbia was the annual Best of Columbia party. The publishers hadn’t held the party last year, and wanted a fresh new look for its return. Once the initial tone and color palette were set, it was just a matter of producing all the collateral to match (and brainstorming ideas for the event itself, of course). This is just a small sample, but over the course of two months I produced over a hundred collateral items for the party, as well as five videos (one for each day of Winners’ Week—think Publisher’s Clearinghouse, big van, giant signs, balloons, etc.). The finished event was a roaring success.
